Super is coming April 1st to Theatres

He’s not really a superhero, but he can beat your ass in with a hammer, or possibly a wrench. Plus, he’s got Ellen Page for a sidekick. She’s spunky. Check out the first poster for James Gunn’s “Super”. Now I hadn’t heard of this movie until today but I may have to check it out. It looks like a crazy version of Kick Ass but I won’t let that deter me.

Starring Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page, Liv Tyler, Kevin Bacon, Gregg Henry, Michael Rooker, Andre Royo, Sean Gunn, Stephen Blackehart and directed by James Gun. Check out the trailer for it below:

The Official Title is… The Amazing Spider-Man

Today, Columbia Pictures officially announced the title of the next Spider-Man film to be The Amazing Spider-Man. The studio simultaneously released a photo of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man in full mask and suit. The film, now in production, is being shot entirely in 3D and will be released on July 3, 2012.

I have to say that it’s great to actually see web shooters on his wrists this time. Click the image to see a larger version of the photo.

X-Men: First Class – First Picture

UPDATE JAN. 19: I’ve updated the leaked photo of the cast with a higher quality one. Director Matthew Vaughn says that it was not a pre-approved image. Obviously there was some confusion between Vaughn and Fox over this one as it was released by Fox.

MSN posted an image earlier today from the upcoming X-Men: First Class movie. The post has since been removed. Thankfully for us though… once it’s online it never goes away. I don’t know about you but I’m not all that excited about it yet. I’m hoping when we finally see a trailer for it that it will put my doubts about the film to rest.

Left to right, we see: Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, January Jones as Emma Frost, Jason Flemyng as Azazel, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Lucas Till as Havoc, Zoe Kravitz as Angel Salvadore, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, and James McAvoy as Charles Xavier.
