Stephen King’s Kingdom Hospital DVD

I read about this a while ago and never had a chance to post it. Stephen King’s Kingdom Hospital will be a four-disc set and will be available to own in shops October 12, 2004. Each of the episodes will be presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. Extras will include filmmakers commentary, an Inside the Walls Making of Kingdom Hospital feature and three behind the scenes featurettes.

Episode 13 Synopsis – ‘Season Finale’ – air date July 15, 2004.

A seance held by Sally Druse sends Dr. Hook and Peter back to the Old Kingdom. When they finally return with answers to buried secrets of the Gates Falls Mill fire, Mary’s trapped spirit is freed and the future of Kingdom Hospital is altered forever. Meanwhile, when a vengeful Dr. Stegman finally catches up with the real Johnny B. Goode (Stephen King) and Antibus, his most terrifying visions of The Old Kingdom are realized.

Stephen King’s Kingdom Hospital and Dark Tower Updates

Well, Kingdom Hospital will be returning to television this Thursday night. Here is the scoop:

ABC will run the final 4 episodes of Kingdom Hospital as three one-hour episodes and one 2-hour episode. Episode 10 is called “The Passion of Reverend Jimmy” by Tabitha King and Stephen King. Episode 11 is called “Seizure Day” by Richard Dooling. Episode 12 is called “Shoulda’ Stood in Bed” by Stephen King and the last episode which is 2 hours is called “Finale” by Stephen King. All are directed by Craig Baxley and they will run on consecutive Thursdays beginning June 24th.

In other Stephen King news, the cover art for the final Dark Tower novel is now online. The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower is to be released September 21, 2004. Here’s the cover:
