Velvet Revolver’s Contraband Delayed

March 13th, 2004 Posted in Music

According to the Velvet Revolver site Velvet-Revolver.org, RCA Records have revealed that the release date for Velvet Revolver’s debut album, Contraband, has been bumped to June 8th in North America. The album was originally scheduled for release on May 18th.

In other recent Velvet Revolver news, as previously reported, the band were all set to shoot their first video, ‘Slither’, recently in Los Angeles with Kevin Kerslake slated to direct. But during Scott Weiland’s probation progress report hearing on March 5th, a Pasadena judge denied the singer’s request to join his bandmates for the shoot, which has since been postponed.
