Microsoft fires Blogger

October 30th, 2003 | Comments Off | Posted in General

If you are an employee of Microsoft, you shouldn’t post a Blog that talks about your work day. Michael Hanscom posted on his personal website about how he noticed some Apple computers being unloaded near his department. He took a picture of the truck being unloaded and posted it on his site commenting about someone is getting some new toys. I guess he should have thought about what he was doing first. Unreal Tournament 2004 Delayed

October 30th, 2003 | Comments Off | Posted in Gaming

Activision has sent out a press release stating that Unreal Tournament 2004 will be delayed until February 2004. The much anticipated sequel was originally to ship in time for the holidays. Loaded with new gametypes and vehicles, UT2004 was looking like a fine addition to the Unreal Franchise. Hopefully, there won’t be any more delays.

News Script Change

October 27th, 2003 | 1 Comment | Posted in Website

I’ve changed the news script I was using from b2 to the new 0.72 version of WordPress. If you don’t know what WordPress is, it is a script that evolved out of b2. It is loaded with new features and functionality. If you stopped by the site earlier, you may have noticed I was changing it with all the errors that showed up during the transition. Fortunately everything went well with the upgrade. For more info on WordPress go to their homepage HERE.

Updates to Pages

October 26th, 2003 | Comments Off | Posted in Website

I’ve made a few updates to the zor’s Links and DVD’s page. I haven’t had a chance to complete what I was hoping to on the DVD’s page, with the details and covers for each release being shown by clicking on the title. I still plan on doing that, it’s just on the back burner at the moment. I am also looking at uploading a few more photos shortly to the photo gallery and changing the main news script. If you come across any links not working, please let me know and if the main page doesn’t show one day, it will be back up soon since I am changing the news script. Thanks.

For our customers who purchase a qualifying RADEON™ based graphics card that includes the Half-Life® 2 offer and activate their STEAM account before Half-Life® 2 is available at retail, Valve and ATI have added the Valve Premier Pack FREE, which includes the games: Half-Life, Counter Strike, Team Fortress Classic, Deathmatch Classic, Half-Life: Opposing Force and Ricochet. This is a limited time bonus offer that expires once Half-Life® 2 is available.

Embarrassed GM to Rename Car

Here’s a clip from the Yahoo article:

GM officials, who declined to be named, said it had been unaware that LaCrosse was a term for self-gratification among teenagers in French-speaking Quebec.

GM officials in Canada are working on a new name for the car, a sedan that will go on sale next year to replace the Buick Regal.
